Hashimoto's, Graves' disease and a nodule are different problems with different treatments. The point of the workup is to know which one you have before anything is prescribed.
Dose management over time
Thyroid replacement needs periodic adjustment, and the right dose for you may change with age, weight, pregnancy plans, other medications and absorption. This is ongoing care, not a one-time prescription.
