About Dr. Marulanda
Maria Ines Marulanda, MD, brings over three decades of internal medicine and clinical research leadership to West Orange Endocrinology & Research Center. She served as Medical Physician and Medical Director at Guerra Méndez Medical Center in Valencia, Venezuela from 1991 to 2015 — leading studies there as Principal Investigator, running the hospital's Clinical Research Coordinator program, and teaching as a Professor in Carabobo University's Internal Medicine Residency Program for over 20 years.
She joined West Orange Endocrinology in 2016 as a Sub-Investigator and Clinical Research Coordinator, and has served as Research Site Director since 2018 — overseeing day-to-day trial operations, regulatory compliance, and participant safety across the practice's full portfolio of Phase II–IV studies, which are conducted under Dr. Mandry as Principal Investigator.
